That's probably because when I said "suffer through subs," I meant "suffer through dubs," so your confusion is understandable. :-[

I can't watch a foreign film with English dubs. I have to have the original foreign language audio with English subtitles.
aren't there some that only have the dub, domestically? i'm sure that you've made it through at least a couple. but i'm with you on that as a serious preference.
I haven't exactly seen a shit load of foreign flicks. But I have probably dabbled in a dubbing at one time or another.
even horror-wise? i find this hard to believe.
I've probably seen most of the obvious ones. If anything I need to see more Asian horror.
That reminds me, you're a video game guy, right? I saw a movie a few months ago based on the Fatal Frame game (or series, perhaps; I don't know a thing about games).

Not great, but was wholesome at times. Plus it was subbed. :)

Asian horror video games are also lost on me.:P

Fatal Frame seemed quite interesting though but I never got around to playing it.

A liked A Bay of Blood quite a lot. I imagine I saw it dubbed, but I'd have to double-check my review to make sure, and I'm too lazy.

I'm not saying dubbing ruin a movie - if you've ever seen Zombie '90: Extreme Pestilence, it's entirely possible that movie wouldn't be watchable without the hilarious dubbing - but if I have the option, I'm always a subtitles guy.

Speaking of TCSM. A couple hours ago for the hell of it I youtubed the beginning where the narrator introduces you to the movie just to get myself psyched for October. If it comes to my theater I will be sure to see it.

Also worth mentioning, I had a Delta-9 gummy (I much prefer traditional weed, but that's illegal here), so I may be high-ish. I don't even know if Delta-9 things are safe, to be entirely honest - didn't do a ton of research on them - but needs must when the devil drives fam.

Good times.
