I’d love a Biden /Warren ticket. Think Warren is incredible and really astute. But I would imagine the best thing is Biden with Barrack Obama as VP.

Warren only appeals to "Woke" media and apparently Seb. I had not considered Barrack as a VP pick than if they win they can have Biden removed for senility. Going to be a crazy next few months.

Warren has substance. That’s what I really like about her. Even where I don’t think her policy is great she has both a process for it and clear articulation if what her plan would mean. It feels like more than just hot air. Sanders I always felt was big on catch phrases and low on policy. Like I like Medicare for all but only Warren puts a meaningful price tag and proposal for how to achieve that (and where taxes go up and costs go down to get there) which is what sets them apart most strongly. I also love that the vast majority of Warren supporters argue they will support other candidates. Bernie supporters seem to be Bernie-or-bust which makes substantive discourse limited and makes all those who amend his proposals enemies and not friends. Hence why he isn’t appealing to more voters who are looking for a coalition builder not another (left) divider in chief. I mean does anyone think Bernie can woo any moderate Republicans or Democrats to his signature policies? He’d just be another Trump forcing his version of tariffs and border control onto people and they can then be unpicked after he leaves.

If Sanders gets the nomination I’ll do everything I can to convince people he’s a better option than Trump. Because he is. But Biden is a return to normalcy and decency in politics who won’t do 8 years. In that sense his VP pick is more interesting.

Wonderful night, last night. This was my exact prediction. I still need to watch Cenk from the young turds meltdown. I'm hearing it was delicious. Jig lost his mind on facebook, and wished Biden supporters to die. Made me sad.

Cannot wait for Trump-Biden debates.

The real trouble is the rights abject lack of self awareness. Gonna be painful.

I hope Trump wins by a smaller margin than when he KO'd Hillary. Don't want him to rest on his laurels. Regardless, I'm sure he'll continue to do great things for the U.S.

Also there’s no reason for Warren to be the downfall of Bernie, if he wants to be elected he needs to appeal to people and he didn’t appeal to enough people. That’s all there is to it.
Sorry but Warren's last week of campaigning was bullshit. The DNC had the other candidates drop out and endorse Biden to fully consolidate the moderate vote. They pumped an extra 12 million into Warren's campaign so she'd stay in and split the progressive ticket. She has no path to victory. She was a useful tool for them, so hopefully she's happy with whatever potential cabinet position she can carve out (which she won't, because Trump will win). She'll have no viability as a "progressive" again.

Also what is "genuinely interesting" about Biden? That he doesn't know where he is 90% of the time? His colorful anecdotes of his 50s greaser gang with Corn Pop?

People ripping on Warren but she did exactly what the Democrats asked of her: Ralph Nader the hell out of the primaries in Minnesota, Massachusetts etc. for the benefit of Joe Biden.

Senility and all Joe is still the Dems best chance at beating Trump and even that is highly unlikely. Bernie would lose my guess 40 to 45 states in a general election

All things being equal, Warren made the most sense because she would get enough progressive voters who won't vote for Biden, but wouldn't scare off old liberals like Bernie.

Her campaign sucked though. She pivoted hard from being the candidate with clear and concise policy goals, to adding a bunch of former Hillary staffers and leaning into "I am powerful woman" platitudes.

He's not. Bernie would have been. The demographics highest on Joe would vote for the Democrat candidate no matter what. Young people and Latino voters (Bernie's strength) historically are harder to pin down. And there's simply no substitute for a candidate who people are actively excited about, which Dems should have learned from the Trump campaign.

The Democrats are insane to think running a "lesser of two evils" campaign with zero grassroots excitement is their best strategy. But the truth is, they are more concerned with losing to Bernie than losing to Trump. At least with Trump, the Wall Street folks won't have to downgrade from five luxury yachts to four.

Yeah. Imagine preaching socialism to the Cuban-Americans in Florida or the working-class Reaganites in the rustbelt.

They were never counting on Florida. Nobody ever should, it's a crazy ass state. The Midwest loves Bernie, and a lot of those voters ultimately went with Trump. And it's precisely because Bernie connects to working class people that they loved him in states Hillary was embarrassed in.

Don't know what he said and I'm sure it was entertaining, but he's probably not wrong to be frustrated. The full weight of the party consolidated to undermine Sanders so that the DNC's preferred candidate (who doesn't know where he is most of the time) could win. Democrats live in this tone-deaf bubble of privilege where they ignore the reality that this shit really pisses people off.

It was pretty nasty stuff that Jig said. Unforgivable things if you're a Biden supporter. I know it's fun to poke at each other when we're frustrated... our candidate gaffes, our team loses, or something. But Jig reacted as if someone murdered his family. Made me more concerned than anything. I'm glad I didn't poke fun, I was just there for the meltdown.

Well, Biden did beat Bernie comfortably in Minnesota.

She's running for VP.
