It's actually worse to me. You had a whole cadre of talented, highly paid individuals that knew it was shit, and just polished it anyways.

Found an 80's slasher on Peacock I've never seen before Blood Hook. Killer uses fishing lures to murder people,yes please!

I don't need it in everything but a Troma film from the 80's set on a lake. I was surprised by the lack of skin

Yeah I disagree completely, but I should know that going in with this site. So further commentary is pointless.

While I haven't seen his 90's work, this is so far definitely better than Argento's latter work that I've seen. Even if I don't remember Mother of Tears very well (I don't recall hating it, or loving it, but clearly it was forgettable), and his Dracula was just terrible across the board. This really feels like the Dario of old, only less surreal (it fits best with Tenebrae, really).

The music is killer.
