Disagree. That's a cop out Bernie was big on the Internet most people don't make decisions from the internet.
Short memory. Bernie was well ahead of the field in delegates until every other candidate but Warren (who would split the left vote) dropped out and supported Biden. So why would I believe they know anything about how a Sanders election would turn out? They think a dementia-ridden old creep is their best chance, these are not very bright people. The only things they’re good at are telling each other how smart they are and losing elections that inanimate objects could win.

Not running Sanders wasn’t out of fear of losing. It was out of fear that his administration would bite the hands that feed them i.e. banks, insurance companies and Big Pharma. The party is a giant corporate whore that occasionally half-heartedly panders to the social left with empty gestures.

I’m sure every single candidate independently came to the conclusion that Joe “Where am I?” Biden was the best candidate. And I’ve got some beach front property in Montana to sell you.

The DNC decided Joe was their guy a while ago. Bernie’s popularity + Joe’s horrific performances put that in question but it was nothing that consolidating the endorsements of every other candidate couldn’t fix.

Joe Biden is the “ugh, I guess” candidate for everyone who supported a non-Bernie candidate, because their candidates all cut deals with the DNC to support Biden.
Disagree. That's a cop out Bernie was big on the Internet most people don't make decisions from the internet.
Short memory. Bernie was well ahead of the field in delegates until every other candidate but Warren (who would split the left vote) dropped out and supported Biden. Bernie steamrolled through Iowa, New Hampshire and Nevada. That has nothing to do with the internet, these are actual results from people voting in real life. Then the DNC got to work.
They knew in a general election he would lose 40 plus states and he would of
40+ states, lmao. Would have won in 2016 but yeah I’m sure he would have lost 40 plus states four years later.

And let’s address the whole point of “They knew”. How often have “they” been right about anything? They are losers who don’t “know” shit. Trump will definitely beat Biden though.
Absolutely his opponent is a vegetable
So why would I believe they know anything about how a Sanders election would turn out? They think a dementia-ridden old creep is their best chance, these are not very bright people. The only things they’re good at are telling each other how smart they are and losing elections that inanimate objects could win.

Not running Sanders wasn’t out of fear of losing. It was out of fear that his administration would bite the hands that feed them i.e. banks, insurance companies and Big Pharma. The party is a giant corporate whore that occasionally half-heartedly panders to the social left with empty gestures.
It was voters who picked the invalid
Are you reading my posts in this exchange? They picked him because all their candidates dropped out, cut deals with the party and endorsed Biden. In a vacuum, Bernie was pretty far and away the most popular candidate. He was dominating when the field was open.

You guys are stunningly naive.
Are we Naive? So for Bernie to win everyone with a favorite other than Biden should not vote? Who's naive?
Your post doesn’t even make sense.

You guys not acknowledging party politics and the factor they play is a nice, rosy view but it’s also horseshit.
Bernie ain't never winning an election he maybe could of beaten hillary but still would of lost the general by way more than she did because everyone is middle
Tell me which states Hillary won that Bernie would have lost. I can tell you which states Hillary lost that Bernie would have won.

The Democrats clearly don’t care.
They got to vote in a primary same as every year. Everyone did. Young people who wanted Bernie or Warren showed up in low numbers. Older people in higher. Enough people want the safe bland oatmeal version of a candidate this time around. It’s a choice that at least has shown interest in taking on ideas from those candidates who were in the primary and has a pragmatist streak to his politics. But if the fact that he’s not exciting is an issue then stay home, vote Libertarian or Socialist or Vermin Supreme. Enough people do that and maybe Trump gets four more years. Then you get to live in that country. If that’s fine for you then Democracy yet again wins.
The entire apparatus of the party consolidated to make a dementia-ridden old creep the candidate. They don’t care.
There’s no party apparatus that matters here. It’s primary voting and voters decide. It’s about as boring a process as you can get.
Voters do not buy into or like the pc nonsense or the potential socialist themes of the Democrat platform they may win congressional seats but never a president
Yes, people in the US have been trained to understand that any government programs = socialism which = communism which = evil but that isn’t anything to be proud of as a country. Bernie was clearly the most popular candidate of the field. Joe Biden is the “ugh, I guess” candidate for everyone who supported a non-Bernie candidate, because their candidates all cut deals with the DNC to support Biden.

Sure candidates drop out and can say “support Biden” but ultimately that doesn’t guarantee shit as evidenced by the fact that you (and other Bernie Sanders supporters) are now saying you won’t support Biden even though Bernie has explicitly said defeating Trump is the top priority. It’s not like they get to take their votes and hand them to the other guy. Deals and machinations are all there in politics but if Bernie appealed to more people and ran a better campaign then he’d be the guy. He didn’t, they didn’t vote for him, and here we are with a centrist boring old man again. But I’d take boring over 4 more years of a Trump.

and if biden appeals to more people than trump, and looks like he actually is capable of leading, then he'll be the guy. then he'll get the votes.

I mean, Trump had to hold back because Hilary was a woman. I feel bad for Biden's family, actually.

so it's up to the dnc to find and support better candidates, or at least make the ones they do have appealing to the voters. but the voters are going to get the blame for not voting someone who looks like he's incapable of leading.

Biden is capable of leading. He’s shown more leadership during this pandemic than the entire federal government because they are inept bullshit merchants. And he has no power right now.
