I don't know. I paid zero attention to what's going on with him.

Well I edited in Becky, but the point being wouldn't it suck for anyone winning their first strap and/or are on major momentum from a push.

Things would look different if at the end of Mania 14, they pumped the brakes and everything hit a halt for even a few months.

Which matches are worth watching?

An all-out offseason wouldn't make sense, but a lot of vets should be able to take extended breaks into the summer. Good opportunity to push younger talent and see who goes over as credible headed into Mania build-up season.

I’m not the one to ask as I’ve only seen Rollins & Lesnar, which is better than some typical squash bullshit but you’re only watching to see Rollins win. I was gonna watch the main event, but caught towards the end Becky and Ronda trying to flip Charlotte through a table and the table just laughed at them. Between that and Becky looking like she was electrocuted in an 80’s sitcom I took that as my hint to skip it.

Miz/Shane and Bryan/Kofi were matches of the night.

Then I would say the Smackdown Tag Title 4 way was third.

HHH/Batista was something to behold because of how sluggish it was.

The Women's Main event was decent before the abrupt ending.

I suggest NXT Takeover Brooklyn if you want to watch a great show. War Raiders vs. Ricochet/Black was a phenomenal wrestling match.

Lmao, when I saw Dave and Hunter went 25 minutes all I could think was oh good god no.

I damn near created a thread just to post this video. It is that good.

Chael Sonnen talking about the Montreal Screw job.

Why would we need a thread just for that? He's just talking truth as per usual.

But it's so good and so rewatchable! Can't have it disappearing in the black hole of conversation in this thread.

I was pretty biased on that after watching Wrestling With Shadows. Bret got screwed and Vince was a dick. My opinion has changed since then after hearing the other side of it. Bret was pretty selfish.

Yeah. "Montreal Screwjob" is a biased title already. I always just went with the consensus. Behind the scenes, I totally get it. You're my top guy and leaving for my #1 enemy? And refuse to drop your belt?!?! Eat shit and live, Canadian.

Wrestling with Shadows really fucked me up, trying to bend my impressionable young mind, dick shines. Good move by Bret to get the first shot fired in a time where there was still some enigma to it all. Situation does have more nuance though, Vince's whole "Bret, our contract is stupid and now I can't pay you and you'd actually be doing me a favor if you work a deal with Ted" shit really sullied the waters.

Good PR that should give the shows a short term jolt if nothing else. Or maybe just a couple known commodities to take the heat off Vince.

Just this past week, their 3 top storylines were all “Face needs help to win” angles. Not that they’ve never beaten the heel or something worthwhile that can build to something cool, but the heels whining “you only beat me with help”. You run that half assed non-sense every now and then, ONCE, not concurrently with 3 main eventers, christ Vince…

Still can’t believe they can’t find some new blood but Heyman will at least try something interesting. There is fuckall for juice and with 58 hours of programming every week, shit between the ropes is only gonna take you so far when you really only got 1 performer who can give you 5 star matches consistently. They need to stop dragging their ass with Wyatt, let Heyman and Bisch loose and give me a reason to watch again.

Hm. I can't really speak on too much of it. I don't know dick about the storylines or talent on the rosters at this point but I read complaints from fans all the time that it's as talented a crop as they've had in years and they don't know what to do with it. If nothing else, Heyman will give you good wrestling.

Pointless to promote them unless you get your asses out of the PG era.

I know we'd all prefer non-PG shit, but that's not even it. Some of the best segments can work just fine in PG eras, the writing is shit. And they have a great crop of talent, no Rocks or Stone Colds, but some Cenas running around.
