Just realized why one of the group investigating the haunting looks familiar. It's fucking Scotty (doesn't know) from Eurotrip, lol.

One of the things fucking with the pace is that it's edited like one of the Saw sequels (any of 4-6) with two different timelines with cops trying to figure shit out, and the events. Or something. It's a narrative mess.

Ooh, they’ve got Sharknado 2-4 on Netflix! That could be fun.

Lake Placid: The Final Chapter does the opposite. Killer croc within 1 minute of starting and then constant appearances throughout. Would be fine if they weren’t obviously crappy CGI blobs with teeth. At least Robert Englund makes a cameo role.

Have realized now that this was the 4th Lake Placid. Not the second. Hence the confusion over the start. Not sure it makes me want to see the interceding two installments.

You're not missing anything really with Lake Placid 2, part 3 on the other hand was mindless fun. I still need to see The Final Chapter and Lake Placid Vs Anaconda.

I might see about 3. Watch them in reverse. Final Chaoter was watchable. But certainly an obvious made for TV movie. Modest acting. Cheap FX. Dumb plot. But crocodiles and titties are not the worst 90 minutes.

Graveyard Shift is gonna get a generous 3/5. I enjoyed it probably more than I should. :p

Oh shit - Terry O'Quinn's in Pin? If someone would have told me that, I would have gotten this watched years ago. :P

"Fifteen years earlier"?

That's something you don't see very often.

David Hewlett's not a name I really know (though looking at his credits, it seems he was in Cube), but damn, is he doing the hell out of this role.

Pin was utterly fantastic. Probably in the top 50 horror flicks of the 1980's, without a doubt.

I love it. You can almost smell how dank and funky the mill is.

Is there a bunch of metal music in Devil's Candy or something?
