If Wentz turns out to be injury prone, there will be no worry in Philly, as they have not traded Foles. But teams will certainly give up the farm in a trade for an MVP caliber QB and Philly could be in prime position to dominate for a decade.
What's odd about it? It's just a good position. They have a cost-controlled franchise QB for the next few years and the ideal backup with a lot of experience behind him. They won't trade Wentz. They could trade Foles but the issue is they probably value him as a backup more than other teams would as a short term bridge QB so it would be tough to come to terms. They'll keep both.

Odd, as in predicament. It's a great position to be in, but do you want to sit on Foles and let him rot on the bench or pull the trigger and get some long-term pieces to build the franchise?

I'm sure they have been taking calls on Foles but the value is not there because teams around the league do not view him as a long term starter. A team will place a greater value on its own backup than another team will, so they're better off just keeping him. They probably want at least a 2nd round pick for Foles but a team trading for Foles would not pay that price because that team is probably rebuilding and invested in another young QB.

If Brady got hurt, I could see the Pats trading for him. He'd be a good for there for a few games.

We can't forget that teams have seen Foles get two opportunities to be the full time starter and he lost both jobs. From Philly's standpoint, that is the best part of this situation. Would be a lot different if we did not see him fail twice.

I have kind of seen some headlines regarding him. But never read anything about him recently. What's up?

Richie's great offseason continues as he has been arrested in Arizona.

Apparently Vikings fans booed Siemian last night. It took three games for another fanbase to be sick of him. They're pleading for Sloter to be the #2.

Dude is getting booed as the backup. He's not even sniffing mediocre.

Lol. Go ahead and base your judgment on a chorus of three boos from a fan base of a team that hasn't won jack, nor shit. Backup receivers should learn routes.

4 receivers caught a ball and all averaged less than a yard. Sounds like a personal problem.
