He spent six weeks doing rallies and playing golf while downplaying the virus.
In January, the WHO advised Trump that the virus was not contagious and suspending travel was completely unnecessary. Two days later, he suspended travel.

Credit where it's due.
And what else did he do? Everything’s fine. It will just disappear. 15 cases, soon to be 0.

Cut off funds to the WHO for being incompetent. Implemented the quarantine you are rallying for, etc..

If he believed that, he would not have suspended travel. The key is to not cause a public panic. This thing was looming for months and he was clearly aware of it if he ignored the dumbasses in the WHO who told him it wasn't contagious.

Nancy Pelosi: Come to Chinatown!
Belasio: take the subway , go see a movie!
Cuomo: we are New Yorkers, go out and don't be afraid of the virus!

Ah, no. But it's TRUMP'S fault... It's allllways Trump's fault.

Bang Melania and watch Tiger King, probably.

You keep repeating the one thing he did that was hardly effective while ignoring the next six weeks where he didn’t do a fucking thing. He has blood on his hands.

Again, what's worse, 100 dead in a day, or 150-200 dead in a week?
100 in a day.

What school of maths did you go to.

It was a good hearted gesture to quell racism.

It achieves nothing but these things never do.

The biggest issue in EVERY country is underestimating the spread and failing to ramp up testing.

Trump did nothing for six weeks and killed Americans. Can’t be said enough.

You're insane. You refuse to give credit where it's due. The only blood on anyone's hands is on China and the WHO. Nobody else. Suspending travel likely saved hundreds of thousands of lives. There is no blood on this hands, at this point it's how many lives can be saved due to China and the WHO causing this thing to damage the entire world.

This is my biggest pet peeve... China is not a race.

Good thing Trump suspended travel and implemented quarantine when everyone advised him not to.

It WOULD HAVE saved thousand or tens or even hundreds of thousands of lives had those6-8 weeks resulted in the US being ready. It did not.

Trump did more, is doing more, and will continue to do more than anyone did about this virus. The only people killing anyone are the incompetent bat-eating communists in China and the WHO for covering it up. Focus blame where it should be, not where you want it to be. Standing on the graves of people who died from Covid-19 so you can try to rationalize the Orange Man Bad mentality is cruel. Credit where it's due. The only number here is how many lives can be saved and how many deaths can be prevented from the corrupt communists in China and the WHO.

China lied, people died.

Playing golf, bitching about Democrats and doing rallies was more important to Trump than taking action in a six week window that would have prevented thousands of American deaths.

And he takes “no responsibility”. Fuck him.

It was. It was quite a good thing. Followed by a really bad thing.

China lied, people died.
After the largely ineffective travel ban, what steps did Trump take in the following 1.5 months (Feb. 1st - Mar. 17th) to fight the spread of the virus? Nothing. Just played golf and bitched. Or as you suggested, fucked Melania, watched Tiger King and caused the preventable deaths of thousands of Americans.

Nobody is ready. Trying to stop an extremely contagious virus is like trying to stop the wind. Trump got ahead of this two months before anyone but him was taking it seriously.

China lied, people died.
