It WOULD HAVE saved thousand or tens or even hundreds of thousands of lives had those6-8 weeks resulted in the US being ready. It did not.

Nobody is ready. Trying to stop an extremely contagious virus is like trying to stop the wind. Trump got ahead of this two months before anyone but him was taking it seriously.

That’s just excuses. More testing, more social distancing, more PPE, more Ventilators, more ICU beds, more contact tracing, more coordinated use of resources. All things he could do and didn’t. All reasons you have much higher rates of infection and deaths per capita.

And Trump never seems to mourn for the tens of thousands dead. Not heard one actual heartfelt condolence. Just braggadocio about how awesome he is.

He formed the coronavirus task force and continuously added members throughout all of February and March. Pretty sure people are still being added. He's actually doing shit about this.
