Since we're going with option 2, it would be wise to continue the quarantine for at least the remainder of the month, perhaps the first of May, and hope the data trends downward.

And things are being done. We've gained more knowledge about this virus through the Coronavirus task force than we have in any other preventative measure across the world. Cases are trending downward, and the gross overestimation of the virus was a fear-mongering tactic. It is a good thing Trump stuck to his guns.

Depends on the availability of other documents covering the same period. Anything in the past century, that’s never going to be a problem. Bullshit is easily fazed out. There is too much information available. The further back you go, the less documentation is available to cross-examine. It’s all logical and scientific in nature. Anything from WW2 isn’t going to be a problem, particularly here.

Wisconsin proves an interesting study on specifically breaking option 2 as you put it, because they forced everyone out to vote in person, and hence the fact that the resultant upwards trend in cases after a 7-10 day incubation period should be very worrying. Puts the May target even less likely as acceptable.
