I don't disagree.
Cant let politics into anything it always ends up perverted and warped
If everyone agreed with me, we'd be just fine, though. :P

Doesn’t seem that way to me, maybe I’m missing something. The fact that prominent offenders are behind bars is good as a start at least. Plenty more to consider.
It's more the hypocrisy behind many of the same people who went after Kavanaugh are defending Biden, simply because he's a Democrat. At least, that's my take on it. Don't know if Jason was talking the same thing.
I can dig it and you are right. Also the people who stand up for Trump but shits on Biden.

Everything crashes and burns. It notched some wins along the way. It’s crazy how much of an open secret the Weinstein stuff was for so many years (I was privy to a lot of it myself) before Farrow went after him.

In regards to the Biden stuff, I’m not sure anyone on either side is being completely honest about their motivations.

Alyssa Milano responded to Tara Reade. "I believe you Tara Reade, but I still support Biden".

The feminist left went from "Believe all women" to "Believe all women and elect their rapists".

R.I.P. Me too

For the record, I don't think Joe raped anyone.

The far left is a victim of partisan blindness in this case too. It’s not just Biden and Trump supporters.

Sure, but it seems awfully selective of them to be okay with allegations against Biden but be so appalled when Republicans do it. Smells like hypocrisy to me.

It’s pretty clear how much they want the Biden allegations to be true. None of this is about Tara Reade. It’s three sides jockeying for political capital.

Of what I’ve seen the people don’t think the one allegation is credible and very much against the rest of the evidence. The opposite of Trump and the 20+ allegations and corroborated infidelity and the statements captured. With Biden there’s a long career in public view and vetting for VP, plus a long history of public service and the allegation really didn’t stack up that well.

One key difference is the transparency with which Biden approached the allegation, opening up records of complaints made. Trump hasn’t done anything like that.

I personally have no idea if it's true or not. I do find it compelling, though. However, even before this, I was against Biden (as I'm sure most people here knew), so insofar as how I vote, and many leftists I know, at best, this was a straw that broke the camel's back, not the beginning of the problems.

I'm not saying Trump's innocent. I think both are pretty obvious scum, regardless of whether or not the allegations (of which come from more than one person) are accurate.

Unless I’m missing something only one accusation is currently leveled at Biden. At least that’s what I’ve read. It seems disparate as a comparison.

I’ve seen a lot of far left media driving this train without ever acknowledging some potential credibility issues from Reade. It’s full speed ahead, no brakes, we need to lock up Biden today. I’ve been following the narratives from all three media contingents because of what a powder keg this is and I’ve come to the conclusion that nobody is really being honest about what they’re trying to accomplish here. And I’m not demonizing any side here, there’s a lot at stake and everyone has power on their minds, unfortunately a serious allegation has become a pile of political poker chips for everyone to fight over which isn’t right.

And don’t get me wrong, it’s a lot of mainstream, center-left journalists who have used their platform to belittle Tara Reade and they’ve conducted themselves in a way that I find pretty reprehensible. Everyone is just passionately supporting their side and there’s not much genuine concern about the crime in question. Not much humanity going on here.
