Harbinger Down

This movie wants so badly to be The Thing. From the arctic setting, the creature's tentacles, the paranoia about who's infected, all the way down to Chess Wizard.

They should've gone ahead and dropped all pretense and called this movie The Thingy.

Sangue negli abissi (1990) is one of the dullest movies I've seen this month, I think.

Starting my last movie of the day, being Sweet, Sweet Lonely Girl (2016).

Erin Wilhelmi (an actress I don't know) is rather adorable in this. I do hope she doesn't die and/or become a killer.

Love the 70's feeling of this flick. Songs from Lobo ("Don't Expect Me to Be Your Friend") and Bread, along with others, have been heard thus far. Holding out for England Dan and John Ford Coley.

Unfortunately, Sweet, Sweet Lonely Girl lost some cohesiveness at the end (when it probably needed it most), so while I liked a good portion of it, it's probably just around average.

Out of the five movies, only one really sucked, so I'd call it a solid day.

I haven't fully reviewed any of the movies I've seen. :P Especially on longer days (4+ movies), it's sometimes hard to throw even a few thoughts down.

That said, I thought It Follows was a mostly solid film, but elements toward the end didn't work out for me. I'd probably give it somewhere between a 7.5 or an 8.

I'll probably watch Silent Tongue (1993) tomorrow - haven't seen many western horror movies, so hopefully it'll at least be okay. At least if it sucks, it still has Richard Harris in it. :P
