Sounds a damn fine night.
Scotch, Speyside, single-malt, no ice. Glenfiddich and The Glenlivet. The two best selling single-malt scotches in the world come Speyside, and totally affordable, imported in the U.S. You could probably find them at most local grocery stories. Only Johnnie Walker Blue is a better spirit.

We have them at Meijer. I've not really drank much since July or so, but I'll probably watch some movies while slowly becoming intoxicated a bit later in the month. Just need to decide on the right movies for that type of thing.

gonna try to get back into the challenge groove, with a werewolf-thon, silver bullet, bad moon, wolfen, howling, awil, ginger snaps. possibly dog soldiers.

I wanna watch it. :p

If Get Out is considered horror than Clue definitely is. It actually has a legit horror theme.

yeah that's a no. Clue is a full onparody of murder mysteries. Get Out has the same horror theme storytelling style of the old Ira Levin (Rosemary's Baby, Stepford Wives) that may not be in fashion these days, but still counts. You may not like it, but doesn't change what it is.

It absolutely sucks is what it is. You can compare to other horror theme storytelling, but there is nothing horror about it. 95 minutes of sucking off Obama and then 5 minutes of weird crazy twist crap is not horror. Duped by this flick just like The Tall Man flick.

well, if the measure of a horror movie is whether you like it or not.. then maybe clue does count.

It is. It's story is totally horror. I can't think of what any other story about a group of people invading body without your permission could be in any other genre. Hell, not only does it fit with the Ira Levin style stories, it also fits with any Body Snatcher stories, but since there's no aliens, it doesn't blend with Sci Fi.

I see that it's finally on Netflix. When I'm out of my Werewolf Weekend, I'll pop that in.
