- the whole dysgenic population would have its choice of segregation or sterilization.

- there would be farm lands and homesteads where these segregated persons would be taught to work under competent instructors for the period of their entire lives.

- Immigration: Open the gates of the U.S.A. to those countries whose inhabitants have the inherent talents and national characteristics desirable, eliminating entirely those countries whose subjects have already been difficult to assimilate.

She proposed this be controlled by the government. Retard slaves. She sounds like a real kind lady.
yeah, she was into eugenics of a sort. more through birth control, than by slaughtering / imprisoning, at least from what i've read.

are there no conservatives with wacky stupid points of view? probably even similar to what you've laid out, against sanger?
So when Blexit brings up the sinister nature of Sanger, are they lying?

When considering her intent, let's consider the actual correspondence taking place . . .

You are a black person. How you feelin' when a half crazy white woman starts talking about eugenics? Starts talking about banning people from places that are less desirable and have trouble assimilating? Starts talking about segregation to supervised work farms?

Who exactly do you think she is talking about?

is that a real quote? i'm gonna have to look at the context of that. cause again, she opposed abortion.

"MOTHERS! / Can you afford to have a large family? / Do you want any more children? / If not, why do you have them? / DO NOT KILL, / DO NOT TAKE LIFE / BUT PREVENT / Safe, Harmless Information can be obtained of trained nurses at / 46 AMBOY STREET." <-- and this directly contradicts that above quote. (if it is an actual quote from her)

This thread is a cautionary tale on how NOT to study history. The meme-ification of it all is a sad reality.

You should take time to read the section that quote is included in. Doesn't do much good to pull quotes out of thin air.

:P fair point.

and it's also served as diversion from where we actually started. if blexit wanted to be honest, they would show fault in both sides. they want to create a narrative of their own, not help people to think for themselves.

If black people find themselves disillusioned with the modern Democratic Party, that is fine. It's NOT acceptable for this movement to be peddling the garbage they are on their website because less educated people will eat it up. So I wanted to focus on exposing their messaging, because messaging is important.

The problem is that you believe there are only two sides. Where does Blexit say to become a repubican? Kanye just gave a bunch of money to a Democrat.

Would you care to explain your quote given the fact that black people with a college education voted for Trump at a much higher rate than those who do not?

By the way, the "merciful thing to do" quote is pretty clearly hyperbole in the context of that entire chapter. Not a particularly unique literary device, but it is effective. Since we're talking about it many generations later.

That has exactly zero relevance to what I said. Maybe I should have said "less informed". The bullshit they are peddling in that section of the website will be eaten up by gullible people. It's indefensible.

that is a problem with our political discussions in general. not enough jig, i guess. :P

i don't care what they become, as long as it's honest. you don't want liberals to lie or manipulate for political gain. i think that should be taken across the whole spectrum.
