Re: November 6th 2018
Hopefully McCaskill loses, which looks somewhat likely at the moment. Another one of those worthless, spineless Democrats.

Re: November 6th 2018
Taylor Swift has never had a job and has a net worth of nearly half a billion dollars, and she's claiming there is a wage gap.
Just very funny. The tether's been cut, she's no longer in the real world.

Oh, I'd love to have a private discussion with Taylor Swift on politics. It would not go very well for her. She's been hanging out with Lena Dunham, so I fear she might accuse me of rape for tearing down her platform so badly.zombie wrote:if you can hold a celebrity's politics against them, then a celebrity can hold your politics against you. fair.Jason wrote:#1 I never tell people how to vote. Which is why we need to work harder to fix the broken ballot access laws that both Republicans and Democrats support. Voting Democratic, in most cases, is not an option if you want to move to a leftist society, as far as I can tell.Headhunter wrote:That's not an alternative if 42 people are voting for them.Jigsaw wrote:Actual strong leftist candidates, not beholden to corporate interests or a corrupt political party.Headhunter wrote:The alternative being . . .Jigsaw wrote:It's a shame that so many atrocious Democrats are winning, and so many "leftists" are happy about it.

Clearly nobody wants to be anywhere near as far left as you except those other 42 weirdos. I don't care how you vote. All she's given me is that she believes the wage gap myth, which can be dismantled by any idiot in 20 seconds. And if she is like 99.999% of all other leftist celebrities, she would think of me as a racist nazi-sympathizer who is not worthy of her presence. Hope that's not the case, but I won't lose any sleep.zombie wrote:i know. you probably would be better able to articulate and back up your views. you're holier than her now, because she voted the wrong way was my point.Jason wrote:Oh, I'd love to have a private discussion with Taylor Swift on politics. Re: November 6th 2018
I don't see how you can determine that. If these candidates were actually allowed in the debates, then it's fair to say that more people would vote for them. However, neither the Republicans nor Democrats would benefit from that, so they have no interest in doing so.Jason wrote:Clearly nobody wants to be anywhere near as far left as you except those other 42 weirdos. A close loss to Cruz is exactly the scenario in which he becomes the guy. What he's done in Texas to make it a close race is a win in itself, and now he can put all his energy into presidential aspirations.Jason wrote:He has to beat Cruz. Texas is pretty much a purple state at this point and he accelerated that timeline.

"Beta O'Male" is gonna make the rounds on the internet and it will crush his campaign, anyway. lol.
