I feel like Steamboat should get more love. If you take his Flair and Savage Matches, they are pretty much wrestling clinics for that time. Wish he had a heel turn at some point.
No heel and no good on the mic/promos. Supreme wrestling ability only gets you so far.
Yeah the promo before the Flair match I posted is a good example of that. Cringe-worthy really.
Sometimes you can get by with your personality being that you have no personality. i.e. Benoit
And it took forever for him to rise to the top and I still don't understand it (horrific hindsight be damned). Beating the H's at WM20, gtfo.
That he and Eddie both got their first and only title reigns at WM20 feels like such a "let's get these lifetime achievement awards out of the way" move looking back. Eddie was awesome all-around, but didn't really fit the champion profile. He was better as the thorn in the side than king of the mountain.
Enh, not at Mania. I think both were worthy of a reign, however.
I guess more so my point is, when Mick Foley never really got some great WrestleMania moment, why should they? He carved his own path. And him winning the championship on RAW while WCW were douchebag idiots selling it out is probably the single greatest moment in RAW's history. He deserved it, but wasn't a Vince guy just like Benoit and Eddie, so fuck that.

Idk, it wasn't a world title but this was pretty great.
With Joey on the call, to boot. It was a proper Mick moment at least.

Now I want to rewatch those Triple H/Cactus Jack matches from IMO the WWF's best year (2000).

I'm gonna go ahead and assume that second zero is a typo.

Just a heads up for those who don't do Wal Mart black friday. They had the complete series dvd set of Ash Vs Evil Dead for $9.96. Pretty good steal compared to the normal price their asking for it.

I'm not exactly sure when the sale ends, perhaps tomorrow or Saturday. Horror related they had A Quiet Place, Hereditary, First Purge, Insidious: Last Key, Resident Evil: Final Chapter, Underworld:Blood Wars, Shape Of Water, Truth Or Dare? (Shitty one) IT (New) and Rampage all for around $3.96 or $5.96 It's still going on now if you wanna drive out to a store and pick something up.

You should be good, I don't think many people are gonna go crazy for Ash/Evil Dead except us.
Honestly, the only thing that was selling crazily was Deadpool 2.

Haven't seen diddily from that show yet, either. Heard it was abruptly shitcanned after the third(?) season.

I really enjoyed it. Great bloody/gore moments, Bruce is great as always and each episode just kept you wanting the next. Starz canceling the show really put a damper on what could've been a pretty fun season 4. I think they were going down the alternate ending route of Army Of Darkness.

Are they looking to get picked up elsewhere?

I don't think it's happening at the moment. I mean, they could pull a Penny Dreadful and get picked back up again after a few years of being cancelled, but Bruce said he was gonna retire the character. Who knows, it's up in the air.
