Kong and the Hobbit ones didn't really bomb, they just had such high budgets and marketing it was difficult to break even. They were still among the highest grossing of their years.

Frighteners totally bombed though, and I believe that was Universal as well.

But I feel like the clue is more they just couldn't break into the mainstream because of their mainstream bombs. But now we're just overthinking things.

Oh man. Hope it's not the corona. Is he pretty healthy? My aunt's coworker of 25 years just passed away because of it. Her friend just retired a year ago. Only had high blood pressure. Not trying to scare ya though. She was 56 yrs old. Praying for the best.

Yeah. I'd say he's quite healthy, luckily. My mom has diabetes so it's important she doesn't get it.
