I suppose they really wanted to do their own Legend of Boggy Creek. Luckily, it's nowhere as terrible lol, but still forgettable.

The actors in the diner scene with Great-Value-Anthony-Mackie remind me of the locals in Howling VII: New Moon Rising...not boding well.

But at least it's shot better!

how does Parrish Randall, in a clean polo and shiny aviator glasses like he's from the Alpha Beta house, still manage to look more white trash than Bill Mosely in a Rob Zombie flick? :P

IMDB has Circus of the Dead at 2014, while Shudder has it at 2020. Confusing.

I'm actually digging this Papa Corn character, and it's pretty solid when it's on the clown group in general.

Does cause for some correction on my end: SOMEONE behind Joker saw this movie :P

(the opening with a clearly unhappy person donning clown makeup is very similar)

Some cool 80s references. It could even be set in the 80s? Two standouts-

"Eat shit and live"- Sleepaway Camp
"What's your damage?"- Heathers

Jeez, trying to go through my watchlist and so many was removed from Prime or Shudder so either I have to rent or it's just no longer available...

Finally settled on Dementia 13 next. Never seen it, luckily is available for me for no extra cost.
