The first is really solid as an isolated movie, and doesn't actually need the second half (even though the adult half is in the book lol). I still liked Chapter 2, but expecting it to be anywhere on par as the first is absurd. I mean, yeah the miniseries second half is pretty bad, but even in the original source, the adult half is weak compared to the kid-half. The adult-half is doomed from the get-go

I'm glad they still didn't have Bill and Bev cheat on each other's spouses with each other. That is so awkward in the book.
