Five minutes in. Apparently a slow burn, but the atmosphere is already making up for it. Movies in the 70's and 80's were just better. Especially horror.

I remember Burnt Offerings being one of the best in a year's challenge. Think I gave Oliver Reed Best Actor.

i think the dog was kind of overpowered. it looked like a lot of it wasn't practical effects too. meh. overall, i liked the movie. i don't know about top 5, like jason, but it's a fun watch.

i think the dog was kind of overpowered. it looked like a lot of it wasn't practical effects too. meh. overall, i liked the movie. i don't know about top 5, like jason, but it's a fun watch.

Only the transformation had CGI, it was like 95% practical.

It's a 10er for me, but I too don't put it in my 5.
