Instead of a mirror you look at the painting, because that’s how you’ll look. Since you are now defined by the pipe. :D

I give up. Just smoke her damn pipe you.
Smoke her pipe now that's something I can get behind and I've been told I'm rather good at it
Lol. Yer autocorrects to her. Epic. :D

I’ve always had fun in that department and think I’m good, but it’s really hard to know/compare notes on. :D just assume it’s good enough. :D
If nobody complains that's all I'm saying lol

Fulfilling relationship, stable group of friends, pursuing a career that engages you. You have all those things in your early-mid 20s, you're on top of the world.

Should look for at least two of those things. Life can either be the peak or the pits at your age depending on how you approach it

Someone reached out to me for advice about the food business. I was looking at her set up and marketing and noticed she very heavily promoted her business as a "Black Business". I did say something about that, but I am not sure I should have.

Pretty subtle but critical difference in how "black business" comes across to customers. Emphasis on the "for", or the "by"?

One of us accidentally put a $2,000,000 transaction into the system at the restaurant today. I got scared for a minute that it was charged to someone's card...but was cash. Easily cancelled out but scary.

Does it really matter? The message is still the same and it is limiting to what she wants to do (and is not really successful for her now).

Basically, she uses hashtags to say "BlackBusiness" and also has a sort of afrocentric look to the business and marketing with the color choices. Also uses some black grammar (I am not sure how else to describe it while being polite).

She wants to do more corporate catering and grow her business, basically.

How is the message the same? Pretty stark difference.

I don't think your average catering client wants any racial, political, sexual, or religious undertones, regardless of nuance or intent.

I am also a big believer that it takes so much to even convey a single message about your business in a clear and effective way, that it is foolish to distract from the notion that you give out great food and service unless your advertising budget is massive.

Picked up an Arbys short rib sandwich. Toast is weird...

Their Arby Melt is good. Try their new Crispy Chicken sandwich. Jason approved. Ask for leaf lettuce as opposed to shredded lettuce, though. They automatically put shredded. I don't believe shredded lettuce belongs on any kind of burger.

Arby's has totally upped their game, IMO. However, that toast is weird. I think it's supposed to be "Texas toast", but in reality, it is thick cut generic white bread.

Lettuce is weird for me. I like it. But don't like it on meat, lol. Weird ...I know .....
