Bosses can be shady as hell. I picture this when Reign told me the boss wanted to booze it up...

Lol. That’s one way to booze up. Race a cop for nascar flag status.

Team socials are a good calm even if there’s some junior people.

Could be sincere trying to recreate the water cooler. Did he go out with you lads while at the office? If so, not trap. If not, major trap.
I think it is. And we've had drinks before, but company sponsored, so to speak.

Good intentions or no, doesn't mean it's a good idea, especially for someone like me. I'm not known to say some shit or anything.
I'm not comfortable drinking with bosses or coworkers but I would nurse a few just to seem like I'm interested
Drinking with all the department would be fine, except him as the boss. And if he wasn't, he'd be fine, I even almost made a joke that he's a couple days late for this for 420, if I did, I guarantee he would have laughed the hardest.

I will. But I'll need the mute!
What gear you guys get? I’ve got an in ear headset type thing and a conference mic both of which have a mute button so I can instamute myself. Works every time. That’s one handy way for it.
Just an ear headset.
But with a mute button? Or have to click screens and shit?

I don't want to wait until I'm very, very ill to get my hands on any zinc when it can be bought by anyone. If there is a special type of zinc supplement that requires a prescription, then so be it, but if any form of supplement works, I want those supplements in hand when I am prescribed the hydroxychloroquine. Remember, the doctors are saying this formula is working so well, that it should be reserved only for Covid patients who are very ill. That's how promising it is. They don't want to prescribe it to any outpatients because they want it reserved for those who are inpatient and about to die.

i understand what your position is. most of us will probably not get to that point. if we do, best to follow what is prescribed, rather than just find something of the shelf because it resembles what is being prescribed. and i hope that you never have to take that, yourself too.

If anyone gets sick enough, doctors will be checking up on you daily. Plenty of time to mention the zinc to the doctor if he doesn't prescribe it to you.

It's important to mention shit to your doctor. I'm on top of the blood thinners I need to take. Remember when I continued to get blood clot after blood clot? *knock on wood*, but since I switched to stomach injections, I have not experienced a new one yet. I went through about three or four different oral blood thinning medications before I got the fuck out of Obamacare and got to choose my own hospital. They put me on stomach injections and explained to me that the stomach injections (lovenox) is the gold standard blood thinning medication and that they will likely never have an oral form of blood thinner that can match the standard of lovenox. I deduced myself that the amount of lovenox I inject into my stomach is by body weight. Nobody ever told me that, I figured it out on my own. When I gained my muscle back from the hospital I jumped up from 72kg to 80kg. I mentioned to my hematologist that I had gained significant weight and they adjusted it accordingly. Had I not been on top of this, I'd be taking a smaller dose than I should be. Sometimes doctors don't consider certain approaches.

I hope you guys consider taking zinc if you do get violently ill from this disease, or at the very least let your doctor know that some asshole on the internet is adamant about you asking him what he knows about zinc in correlation with hydroxychloroquine.

that's something really personal about you and your medical history. if you do ask about zinc and hydroxychloroquine, be sure to mention what you're also taking for other things. again, that's personal to you. of course you need to let the doctors know your history and what medications you're already taking. etc.

if you have to tell them that zinc needs to be taken with hydrochloroquine to be effective to anyone with covid, apparently, then that's something else entirely.

My favorite Bob Clark trivia is that Halloween was basically Black Christmas 2. Carpenter asked him what he would do if he made a sequel and he laid out the plot to Halloween, and even said that's what he would call it. Carpenter changed Billy to Michael, tweaked a few other things, and made it his own. Clark was fine with it, since he didn't really want to make a sequel and wanted to move on from horror to other genres.

I remember reading that somewhere before. I'm glad Carpenter didn't make slasher his entire repertoire, either.
