Hey, Zombs. How was your weekend?
hot. i should be trying to improve my drawing skills or something... but i don't like summer.
lol I hear that. I have to be in the mood to draw. Reading, too. Been awhile since I've gotten involved in a good book, even though I'd like to. I used to read all the time, and have new Stephen King books I've yet to read, but I either don't have the time, or if I have the time, I'm not in the mood. You read anything good lately?
i haven't been in the mood to read lately. the last book i read (listened to, really) was about horror films of the 70s and 80s. tigg recommended it, but i forget the title....
My ADD won't allow me to listen to books, I really want to like them but I can't.
listen while you're doing something else too?

Same here, can't listen to audiobooks. Everything is too distracting.

Been dorking around Garage Band (since I have a Mac, and it's free), and though it's clunky, I might be able to at least "sketch" out the backing track I have in my head.

Yeah. Luckily the backing track I'm thinking of has a VERY simple drum beat lol. It's the synths I'm hoping I can make sound right. In Pro Tools, I can layer a bunch of shit together, here isn't VERY stripped down and that doesn't seem to be an option.

How would you describe the sound?

In my head, it's like the opening credits for Firestarter and Pink Floyd's Sorrow had a baby.

Yeah, I figure it's got a good enough sound and rhythm that would be fun to practice my Musican Man Majesty guitar on top of.

I can listen to them, but I don't absorb any of the information like I do when I read it.
