After nearly 20 years I am curious who has met/hung out with another member in real life?
I know Reign recently visited Ava and Daebo hung out with Boogey once at a horror convention.
Has anyone else ever met up?
Wyte and I have been wanting to met up for some years now but work and other RL shit always got in the way. But now that I am on the east coast were going to try and make something happen within the next year.
i met monica when both of us were still in florida. but that's it for me.
I remember the name.
i don't think she came from the fvsj board but she came around pretty early on. and i think she met slaughter too.
Yeah I remember the name but not much else. I also remember ISU, Sharp, Tron, Adam, Em, and Xtine. There's others I am forgetting but yeah a lot of people from the early days who've since moved on.
life happens and people grow apart. i hope they are all doing well, and wouldn't mind seeing them around here again, even for just a visit.

The original HMF, technically. Went through several proboards forums that were deleted because they were a pretty censored free message board service. Eventually moved to horrormoviefans.com
If I remember correctly Foo paid for the site originally.

So we are coming up on the 20th Anniversary of HMF. I want to say it was started in November of 2004.
it would be cool to set something up to celebrate. i don't know what that would look like except maybe a group watch of fvsj or something, if we can manage it. but i don't know. still cool that some of us have stuck together for so long.
Pfft, no thanks to you guys always pissing off Jason with your stupid politics.
jason has no politics. he's just a special boy with mommy issues, who may or may not have drown in a lake during the 50s.
Beings Jason loves the Everly Brothers and all kinds of older than dirt shit, that works for him too.
Speaking of, the best decades for music is as follows:
1970s
1980s
1960s
1950s
1940s
and the rest

I met ol Dave626 in Pasadena last year. He announced on facebook he was coming to California from Arkansas for a Halloween meet and greet and I offered to meet up with him since I kind of frequent the area around Halloween time.
I definitely remember Dave. I hope he is doing well these days.
It's a shame you made a trip to Dallas after I had moved. I would have certainly made time to meet up for a bit. I'm not clear on where in Cali you reside but I have some family out that way. Next time I come out there if you are near by we can meet up if you're up for it. Same if you ever make your way out to VA.

I supposed I'd put the 90s in league with the 40s for the simple fact that artists from the 60s-80s were still releasing fairly good shit into the 90s and the country music was also pretty good in the 90s. Problem for me is 90s is known as the grunge movement and the killing off of 80s metal so I will forever be sour on those weirdos.

Sounds good. I live about 100 miles east of L.A., away from all the noise in a significantly smaller area but pretty well populated.

I couldn't really get into punk but I listen to a lot of rockabilly type music, typically Johnny Horton since he's sort of the originator of that genre. But he'd be considered country so...

There are a few moments that stick out to me as "bad times" in the HMF history.
1. The original HMF.com board breaks beyond repair. (this is the worst IMO)
2. Danzig scrap porn incident.
3. The major feuds that have occurred over the years.
4. XJ Bleach Incident.
5. Kenny The Killer
