what's wrong with seeking advice from actual horror fans, rather than staring at imdb or wikipedia to find out what you might like?

I am a big believer in doing some independent exploring of anything you have some interest in before pulling others into it. It goes for anything. If someone asks me to help them cook, I would hope they have taken the time to acquire a certain base level of knowledge.

"What are these white and black powders?"

"Salt and Pepper."

"What is this box you are sliding the bread into?"

"The Oven"

Here is the thing, if she is too goofy to recognize she is on the largest repository of knowledge that the world has ever created, and has not even seen the basics, while asking for advice, she is likely stupid or an attention whore or both. Good shit would be wasted on her.
Yes - asking for advice on what horror movies to potentially see from a horror fan because they don't know much about horror is such a crime. *implied sarcasm complete*

Not true. She asked someone else, who asked moviechat.org, and then I saw it, and thought I'd ask you guys.

It's multi-layered, to be sure. :p

I fucking hated Kane Hodder. Now it is just a moderate dislike!

BTW, the girlfriend messaged me and said, "We are going to watch the movie of the clown". :p I think it is IT, but I really hope it is Blood Harvest.
