Not sure whether to congratulate or feel bad for Seb after the Blazers signed Melo.

The only thing better than two volume shooters who don't play much defense is three volume shooters who don't play much defense. And this one doesn't make shots either.

There's a case to be made that Melo is the best US Olympic player ever though. Three point range internationally is shorter so his awful long midrange NBA shots are good shots overseas.

It is so fun watching NBA superstars in the olympics win against the rest of the world's best by like 80 points and shit. It is unreal how drastic it is in favor of the U.S.

Peyton Manning in the stands with his family (son in a Jokic jersey) cheering on Denver at the Nuggets game. :)

He's a Coloradoan!

After throttling the Rockets, the Nuggets go out and KO the Celtics and that game was also not on television.

No surprise the Nuggets turn it up defensively with Coach Fangio in the house.

Their defense has been stellar. Most games they give up 80/90 points (held the Rockets to 95) and this win against the Celtics was only their second game where they didn't score 100 points. They got the brightest future, but they're experienced enough that a trip to the Conference Finals could be in the works. But fuck the West. There's gonna be like five 60-win teams and shit.

The Nuggets only need to be worried about the Lakers and Clippers. Those are the teams who should be in the WCF. Houston will win a lot in the regular season but Harden will break down from 80+ games of high usage in the playoffs as he always does. Utah is one of those teams for nerds and contrarians to get excited about, but they're boring and not capable of scoring with other teams. Everyone else will get smoked by any of the above teams in the playoffs.

That’s what it looks like to me too. Not even sure if making the playoffs is worth it this year for the Blazers. Awful start and doesn’t look much brighter.

Well, probably not gonna be bad enough to realistically get a top 5 pick so kind of no man's land. In the end I think Portland is one of several teams contending with that #8 seed, but it's pretty bad.

I've been clamoring for them to trade for Kevin Love for two years. Hassan Whiteside is kind of a clown and Pat Riley was happy to dump him. Didn't get that move at all.
