Nudist Colony Of the Dead

Well... I mean it's a lot of dead people killing people, so I guess there's that... :D

There's a definitive part of me that wonders whether I've misunderstood why there's nudist zombies, but also really bizarre musical numbers thrown in with an element of irony. I mean, I can't figure out whether it is the greatest thing the Horror section will ever have, or if it is the type of awful Cheese that Slaughter rails against.

Definitely bonkers, but it kind of works. Lots of severed heads. An abject lack of science, but that's all that's good. :D

Perdidos (2014) was just some average Mexican found footage film. Okay portions, but overall, very little to get excited about.

Perdidos sounds bollocks. But then I'm not big on found footage films.

Nor am I. Thought I'd give it a try, though.

Good enough for an October challenge, I'd say... Nothing more.

15 minutes into Incubo sulla città contaminata (1980) (perhaps better known as Nightmare City).

Always loved 70's/80's Italian flicks.

continuing some Tobe Hooper. Popped in Lifeforce.

Me: "The best special effect in this movie: Mathilda May naked."

Alli: "That's not a special effect, she's just naked."

Me: "It's special, and it causes an effect."

Havok, man, look forward to seeing how many you can get yourself. I'm already miles ahead of my usual start. So far so good.

Man, I forgot how much I like the physicality Kane Hodder brings to the table.

I think I might be watching a schlock spoof of classic horrors. They're including a lot of post-modern self-referential lines and "try to be clever" writing. But it kind of works in the context.

I probably would've already like 6 or so now, but I passed out last night and I had a rental car to return today. Anyway, here's hoping we can get a movie or two farther then what was on our lists last year.

Couldn't get Ratline to work, so I opted to go with Tales Of The Third Dimension instead.
