Put on Prom Night. Might go with some Jamie Lee Curtis for a while. The Fog next. Can't put in Halloween though because I think Joe Bob is doing that on his special.Gonna save that one.

Checking out The Barn. Looks like another retro style horror movie. Hopefully doesn't suck.

i thought it was pretty good. it's a slow ride though, so if you're not into that, maybe give it a pass.
I'd like to think I'm known for being more open to slow burns than most others :P
mileage will vary by execution. :P again, i liked it. i'm curious to see the longer director's cut.

on a side note, i'm debating whether or not to actually give rosemary's baby a watch. :P
Why do I feel like this is all code for disparaging me...

Not sure if genuinely bad actors, or intentionally acting bad because this is directed by someone who thinks in order to be retro the actors have to sound bad (Adam Green and James Issac, I'm looking at you)

Girls are hot though. Disappointed at the cockblocking of seeing Nikki's titties. :/

Oh cool, second chance for her titties. However....it is noticeable her head's not in frame, so it's probably a body double. I'm thinking her ta tas are actually bigger than the double they show.

I generally liked The Barn, but what holds it back is this obsesion with writing intentionally bad dialogue with actors delivering it intentionally bad. It's an insult to the older movies that really weren't like this (Friday the 13th pt 3 had a perfectly good excuse for its hammy acting: they couldn't use the best acting takes, only the takes that worked best with the 3D cameras).

Could be better had they didn't intentionally hurt the acting/dialogue.

Watching Mischief Night. Pleasently surprised to see Erica Leerhsen from Blair Witch 2 and the TCM remake in this.

Apparently there are more than one Mischief Night movies, and in very close proximity of each other. I'm watching the one from 2013, not 2014.

And because of the blind girl setup, with home invasion theme, I'm beginning to get a Wait Until Dark vibe.
