i can agree to the second part, supposing the opening was that different. i didn't see what was originally shot, maybe he did. but i don't think that it was anything just to do with coming out too soon after a re-release of the older films. that i don't really buy.

Dead Men Walk (1943) was just as weak as I remember. Going now for an actual classic, The Most Dangerous Game (1932).

First viewing of The Taking of Deborah Logan.

Quite enjoying Bleach. Good Japanese action horror. Most exciting.
