California is shady as fuck. There is a proposition that will be open for voting in November, and it is to repeal the Road Repair and Accountability Act. Democrats are blatantly advertising it with ads everywhere, all over social media, etc... saying to vote No on the proposition, claiming they will never be able to repair roads if this bill is repealed. Which is total horseshit, for one thing. But the other shit they conveniently fail to mention is that registering your vehicle is going to multiply x7 (x7!) for all California residents, gas tax will shoot up even more than it already is (the cheapest in my town right now is 3.47) and also if you listen to the dems and vote No, voters will no longer have control over any proposed gas tax increases, meaning they can crank that shit up to 10 bucks a gallon in 2019 and there isn't a damn thing a California resident can do about it.
