I'm trying to watch the MCU in order, so I'm still back on Inhumans.

That said, I can catch up on the new season of Doctor Who today, so that should be a good time.

the inhumans is not part of the mcu, officially. they want the mcu to be a part of their show, but the mcu does not want to be. :P

Since I'm only two episodes out from finishing it, I might as well. It's not god-awful, but it's certainly nowhere near as good as the Netflix shows or Agents of SHIELD.

I think Agents of SHIELD is pretty good, with a few rough patches. I watched the first half of Season 5, and have to admit, was moderately blown away.

I spent the last two hours watching Amish Devil and my head is literally a mess trying to process everything to convey into words for the radio show tonight. :?

I did. Wasn't really sure what to make of it. Sounds like you're not either.

Do you remember Unholy Ground? The German film I found a few years back? Well, it's sort of exactly like that mixed with La Bete. Take those films and elongate every single action by a continuous 10 minute set piece for a span of two hours with filters and story lines that don't really flow or make that much sense and you have Amish Devil. Semi Avant Garde in nature and trip inducing like a Jodorowsky film on a very small budget.

That sounds like something I would likely absolutely hate. :P

It definitely could've been trimmed down a lot. There's scenes that just linger on things with no dialogue for almost 10 minutes and then it's shaky cam, cut to a girl randomly fingering herself in a shed, close up scene of a dead animal, back to main girl and devil having sex in a field with a goat pissing and the next scene having hardly anything to do with the last barrage of images because we're back to the biker hearse driver for the third time, but this time there's a 10 minute rape scene with the main girl and a gimp cheering the raper on.

Gonna catch up on Walking Dead and Saul today and that is about it for the next few weeks.
I have to buckle down and study for a state board exam coming up. No life, no going out, no tv, no movie watching. Nothing. Except for next Tuesday (election night). I'm not missing that news coverage :P
Bright side...If I pass, I AM DONE! :D

Fuck yeah Michael Pena steals it. Right when the movie ended I turned to my friends and stated "THAT guy needs to do a rundown of everything in the MCU till now before the next Avengers, even if it's just a short they put online." A month later I've started seeing memes stating the same thing lol
