Yeah some noises and shaking things like monitors on desks can make me uneasy.

I had a fucking seizure. I went to work that Monday already feeling like total shit, probably never should have went. And I work on a comp all day and the my work has the worst hack lighting job ever, so before long eyes and head started killing me. One of the worst migraines set in and I turn off all the lights around me and just sit there because I can't think or do shit. Then with my eyes bloodshot, my vision turns red and eyes hurt like hell, and with every blink there is like this blue tint glazing over me. I get home and shit is even worse, migraine worse and now my red vision has what they call an aura to it, this vivid cloud shape of rainbow colors right in the middle of my vision, and I shit. Only thing I can think to do is visine, so I get my mom to try and put some in. I lean over a chair, and just as she drops some in BAM lights out. Next thing I remember I am in an ambulance on the way to the emergency room asking what the fuck happened.

Well apparently right at visine time I started convulsing violently, then tipped the fuck over on the ground, then onto my back not breathing and foaming at the mouth. My mom flipped me over to get me to breath and tried prying my mouth open. After a minute of convulsing the firemen come and I "come to" and crawl into a corner, not letting them near me as they try to take my pulse and blood pressure. They eventually do and get me in the ambulance, all of which I remember nothing of. Spending the next 4 days being of nightmarish portions. IVs from hell, nurses from hell, rooms and roomates from hell, lancing a wound, going through MRIs, CT Scans, Ultra Sounds, EGTs, DDTs you name it. They even put all these sticky elector-magnet things across my chest and abdomen to manage your heart-rate and vitals that they ripped off and replaced so many times I might as be a 10 year old boy now. FML

Did meet some cool people though.

Did they determine this was just from excessive lighting and shit? No underlying cause, etc...?

Once the E.R. jitters settle and you assume your daily routine all will be golden. It's easy to let that shit get to your head and make you scared. You'll be telling the story to your work buddies "Yeah, had a seizure, convulsing and all that shit. I started foaming at the mouth, but the doctor's say it wasn't seizure related, you fuckers just piss me off every day".

All my brain scans suggested nothing in the noggin was susceptible, heart was fine. So nothing definitive, perfect storm of shit I guess, stress definitely being chief. Was ordered to go to the regular Doc and work on my blood pressure, had low potassium. And of course, they said lay off the booze. They also said drink more water and stay hydrated in which I laughed in their faces as I drink a metric shit ton of water.
