Just had two shots of Kraken, and have a bottle of Leinenkugel's Orange Shandy in front of me - ready to watch what I set out to watch days ago: The Brain (1988)

Hope everyone else has plans as exciting as mine.

After The Brain, went with H.G. Lewis' The Gruesome Twosome, which I hadn't seen before.

Definitely not one of his best, but certainly better than Color Me Blood Red. I'd take Blood Feast, Two Thousand Maniacs!, or The Wizard of Gore over it any time, though.

So Cliffhanger is getting a female-led remake. That should go well.

Partially nonsensical and often incompetent, but still a lot of fun.

You need to do yourself a favor and watch And Then There Were None (1945). You would love that movie.

We already saw what happens when you let broads on the rock in the first one. The only boulders they need to be climbing are the ones hanging low.

Thank the Almighty for putting Holly Holm on this Earth, otherwise we'd have gotten this...

It just so happens it's exquisite. Probably right behind Monster Squad for my favorite growing up of more kid centric horror.

You ain't seen it yet? Quite good. Also shockingly good FX for a low budget Canadian movie.

I was looking at a top 200 list of 80s horror movies. As I got about halfway down the list, I made a commitment to buy the highest rated movie on the list that I don't own/haven't seen. The Gate it was, and #19 on the list. I looked at the trailer and it seemed pretty enticing. Definitely seems to be one I missed out on as a youngster. Gonna buy the blu ray and save it for the challenge. Just wanted to get a consensus on it. What age did you guys first see it?

I was 13 when I saw it and I've seen it a few times since, the last time being just a couple years back. Fun movie.

Ooh. That could be pretty cool depending on the actress they go with. All in for a Noomi Rapace or Tessa Thompson type character. Would be less sold if it was a Scarlett type film.
