At my workplace, employees were allowed to wear American flag shirts. Saw far too many flags today, as would be expected.

In the UK they do the poppy appeal and always find it weird that I refuse, even when given for charity. Patriotism/nationalism isn’t really good if forced instead of chosen.

We are in the clear, now. Where I grew up had a tornado go through. We drove to my drummer's house because he has a basement and lives maybe a mile from me. The sky was crazy. Not just because of the lightning, but almost every cloud looked like a possible funnel cloud. Which made it creepy as fuck. You could only see the clouds when it would lightning.
