Monster Mash Monday

When I get home tonight I'm gonna type up my two weeks notice. I don't necessarily plan on quitting, but it's getting bad. We're the heart of the company and upper management treats us like shit. It's gonna be a long letter. I just want to have it prepared because over the last week there have been a few instances where I've considered giving them my notice right then and there.

Being insanely miserable at work will eat you alive. I had a job I hated so much that I used to get stomach cramps on my way there just from stress. I pulled over and called them from a phone booth on my way there and quit. I felt like an elephant had gotten up off of me and I could breath again.

Quitting a bad job is what I assume heroin feels like. It's an incredible feeling. Better days ahead.

If I were to quit now there'd be no backup plan. It would be nice to live off savings for a few months and just do nothing. But bills. And food. And government. And bills. And government.

One of the biggest issues I have is there is no life enjoyment when I'm working full time. Regardless of the job. I'd like to do shit besides get ready for work when I'm at home. Would like to have a spontaneous three day movie binge, but work.

Savings? What's this....savings you speak of?

I no go college. :p

Yeah, I'd actually be able to save if I wasn't flushing 600+ a month down the toilet on student loans.

Separate topic: actually thinking about doing a Night of the Demons piece to take with me to the Darkside of Riverside event. Won't start until I get my tickets though.
