Some more The Stand casting news today. Biggest one: Another Skarsgard has got a King villain. Alexander is Randall Flagg. I'm glad they cast someone with charisma like that. No idea if he's a good actor though as I haven't seen Tru Blood.

Now we just need Stellan as Kurt Barlow for the new Salem's Lot

No. I'm a New Yorker every year on 9/11.

Never seen True Blood but he played an abusive husband really well in Big Little Lies and had a really good charm/menace duality to him that should serve him well in his career.

True Blood was weird. A chick I was seeing for a while had me watch the first three or four seasons with her. Had its ups and downs. Lots of gayness, but lots of hot chicks. Somewhere in between Twilight and real vampire flicks. Skarsgard was OK in it, from what I remember. But Deborah Ann Woll was the highlight of the show by faaar. Looked a lot like the girl I was seeing, too.

Whoopie Goldberg is officially signed on as Mother Abigail too. I know they approached her for a while, but it's official now. I'm good with that.

Also, the guy that played Patrick in It (and as a zombie in It: Chapter 2) is playing Harold Lauder.

I'd love to have an excuse to live in New York for a year because there's definitely an energy in that city that I'd imagine you only feel in a few places in the world. Also, elite pizza any place you walk into for a snack pretty much wherever you go. Elite regional specialties elevate any city a couple notches. Philly probably gets the biggest boost from the cheesesteak, but New York pizza is up there.

My step daughter has been living in NYC the past 3 years. She absolutely loves it.

I like secret slasher. Would join.
