Last day of heat wave! Now it's only going to be "my life is miserable" hot, as opposed to "kill me plz" hot.

How was the weather in Japan while you were there? You were in Tokyo, right? My cousin was a model over there, but I have never asked how the weather was.showa58taro wrote:Heatwave gone here too.
Hot as hell and humid and sticky. Very hard to handle for a Swede. Was properly warm with an inescapable pacific heat. Very tough.Jmac Attack wrote:How was the weather in Japan while you were there? I read somewhere that Tokyo has very similar to where I live. I just looked and it seems that their winters are a lot warmer but summers aren't quite as hot. We have been lucky this summer. We did have two weeks of temps 85-90, but not bad for June at all.showa58taro wrote:Hot as hell and humid and sticky. Very hard to handle for a Swede. It's ok, I think I enjoyed the first segment, because of it's simplicity and how dark it went, but the remaining stories just felt average.Ava wrote:Looks like Netflix put up a new horror Anthology XX. All four tales told from a woman's point of view. ?? I love anthologies but that description makes me not want to watch it. I don't care whose point of view it is as long as it is horror!!
I only liked one minute of that first one, the table scene. Hated the rest. Second story was by far the worst. Just stupid. Even the gal from 2 1/2 Men who I tend to like didn't save it for me. I liked where the third story went, that transformation, but it was like An Ash vs Evil Dead episode in that as soon as it gets going it ends. My order would be 3,4,1,2 but really all of the stories are just pretty forgettable.Havok wrote:It's ok, I think I enjoyed the first segment, because of it's simplicity and how dark it went, but the remaining stories just felt average.Ava wrote:Looks like Netflix put up a new horror Anthology XX. If I had to rank them from best to worst? 1,4,3,2
so, what is your favorite feminist horror movie?Headhunter wrote:Pretty sure horror had already filled its feminist senisibilities quota decades before it was even a discussion. Other genres needed to catch up if anything.
Bit milder due to the Pacific Ocean.Jmac Attack wrote:I read somewhere that Tokyo has very similar to where I live.
