So, starting today, I am vacation through Monday. However, my stepsons dad passed away at 340pm today. Its Amber's ex husband. He was always good to me. He died of cirrhosis of the liver.

Thanks guys. I always take a few days off around Halloween. Last year, my mom had to have surgery which ended up taking her life. And now this. It's supposed to be my favorite time of year.

The thing that sucks is my stepson moved out of his house and moved back into mine a couple of months ago. He was stealing off of him and selling his stuff to get alcohol. So, they had a rough past few months. I know Brennan (stepson) is hurting, but he seems to be doing well and was prepared for the worst. I told him I was so sorry to hear about it, but he said he was glad to have me. He is only 19yrs old, and moved out yesterday into his new apartment with his awesome girlfriend. I'm proud of him. He has a full time job and is the best kid I've ever been around.

Damn J-Mac. That has to be a jolt to the system. Glad to hear the stepson is doing relatively well though. It's good that you're there for him.

Sucks about that, J-Mac. I don't know what to say in these situations (like I just avoided Dream's altogether) because no matter what I say it always sound fake to me. Which it isn't, but that's my anxiety getting the best of me lately I guess.



Side note, so many damn fires lit up near me I legit thought Jurupa Valley was celebrating Devil's Night.
