Dragged my ass out of bed for work. 11 drivers, I'm only one of two scheduled. Way behind. Finally almost done

Finished the National Novel Writing Month goal last night (at 50,165 words), so that pressure going away felt pretty good. I'm going to plot out the rest of it, it's only about halfway through.

Seeing Knives out Tomorrow. Tonight I have no idea if a pathfinder game is going on or not. If not, I'm staying in. If so, well, I'll be doing that.

Knives Out looks enjoyable. And I am a complete sucker for murder mysteries, so that one is an obvious must see.

What's fun about what I've been writing is that I put a murder mystery game in the middle of the whole shabang.

Well, fun for me.

They're the best, imo.

The plot's not one though. There just happens to be a game going on during it. I did refrain from watching ones so I didn't accidentally copy anything, even though stereotypical tropes are totally there.

"To make a long story short"
"Too late"

It's up against 10 Frozen II screens per theatre, so it'll be a struggle :P

I've complained about this sort of thing a long time before you were :P

It's just easier to blame a face now cause 99% of the time it's Disney. Quintin was right when he bitched about it during The Hateful Eight's release getting buried to make room for their Star Wars.

The first time I remember complaining about this sort of thing was the lack of an audience for The Pianist, while Bringing Down The House was packed with multiple screens at the same time, way back in 2002. It was the first time I really took notice of how the lowest common denominator works :(

From a niche market of cute little princess movies to ruling the media world. It's pretty fuckin' unreal.

To that point, 20 showings at my closet theater for Frozen II tomorrow. 6 for Knives Out.

This is why movies suck, for the most part. The screenings are overwhelmed with half-assed Disney movies that can't even hold a candle to their predecessors.

lack of availability should not play into your judgment on whether a movie sucks.

Lack of good movies being made because they're wasting their time with half ass Disney flicks and retarded Marvel nonsense.
