Can we stay updated on situations so if someone here needs help we can step in as we can?

I'm still working and okay, personally.

Still working, though hours are shortened and we're closed off from the general public.

There really is no scenario where my job would close I'm glad about that even though it's a kind of stressful that is indescribable

Still out of work and don't plan on being employed again for several months. Don't really care, to be honest, because people suck, and I'd rather not deal with them right now anyway. I am getting extra cranky, though, due to reading too much garbage on the internet since I've got nothing better to do with my day.

Love the combination of constantly being told about us needing to be even more hygienic now, yet I had to pick up and get rid of a used condom in my work parking lot today. Disgusting. Even using a disinfectant wipe to pick it up, I still thoroughly washed my hands after, and still don't feel clean. Ugh.

Dropping in for an update.

Feeling a little raspy in my throat still and a little coughy, but it hasn't really progressed into anything worse *knock on wood*. Wondering if I have Covid, but only have an asymptomatic case? Would be nice to know. I'd like to get tested just to know, but these test kits aren't just readily available for everyone, so I'm gonna wait it out and leave the test kits to the elderly. I avoided the gym for a week or two, but it's still open. It's a real low-key mom and pop type gym. Kind of a dead zone in there. It's tricky, because stopping exercise will cause my immune system to drop. Which is no good for someone missing a spleen. I went last week a couple times and yesterday. I'm gonna go again today. Wipe machines down, stay away from folks both for my sake and their sake. I feel much better with every session.

I have an n95 mask, but I'm wondering if I should even wear it since I'm potentially infected anyway, or just wear a surgical mask to protect others. I have both masks.

We will be fine. There is no statistic that measures those who aren't tested. For all we know, half the country has it or already had it and it blew over without anyone knowing. I wager most people with the disease haven't gotten tested. I suspect I have it, but won't go to urgent care or ER unless I start getting a lot worse.

it's more than just the virus itself. (but that's enough) it's the potential social fall out, taking bad medical advice from people on tv, and also the financial situation.

This doesn't feel like a normal sore throat or naggy cough. It feels different. Not worse, but just like a different virus. This is what leads me to believe I might have it.

You should pretty much stay in man if you do have it why risk infecting others and if you dont why risk your life cant you work out at home

Gotta prepare through May for it to still be like this. And that's unfortunate. But as long as the curve flattens that's what's important. Some have made the point that it would be best to let the virus burn through quicker and just go about everything normally so it doesn't become an endemic issue.

I am for the former, though. There's not a lot known about this virus so it's probably best to flatten the curve.

I have no equipment here at home. The great thing about the gym I go to is I have a keycard to let me in whenever I please. They're also doing it by appointment only now. It's usually just me, or one or two others in the whole gym.
