He does and I’m hoping it’s thriving. The Facebook post seemed to be the food truck being there.

What is it about Florida that attracts such craziness? My friend who grew up in Tampa told me stories that made it sound like a different world altogether.

I was stationed in Orlando for about a year in the early 90's and I cant remember seeing anything crazy mostly old peoples chilling.

From what I understand there’s one Florida that’s just old snowbirds golfing and relaxing, and another that consists of nutjobs and con men doing crazy shit and tying to screw each other at every opportunity.

Then of course there’s also the panhandle which seems to be the most redneck region of the entire country. The more south you go, the less South it is.

Northern Florida is quite rednecky/white trashy but doesn't every state have a similar chunk. I'm in Baltimore where violent crime and murder have actually gone up since the pandemic so maybe I should not be passing judgment.

Oh for sure. Central Valley and a lot of the desert communities of California are super redneck. Hell even where I live there’s a weird militia element going on. I’ve driven through parts of Pennsylvania and New York that might as well have been Alabama, just with Amish communities popping up every half hour.

Interesting(ish) fact. Florida-man is more a byproduct of availability of police reports and press than crazy people. So I read. Something about Public Recirds and the Sunshine Law or something to that effect.

My buddy just ordered this shirt and I'm mad jealous I didn't see it first
