75 year old Ritchie Blackmore can still kill it on guitar like nobody else...
When I'm unemployed, I naturally stay up until like 4AM. I don't prefer it, I feel better when I get up at like 6 or 7AM and go to bed at normal hours, but I am a natural night owl...Reign in Blood wrote:Dig it. I like this duality, how I get up when you go to bed.
I'll check this out later. I'm becoming a huge fan of his. Right now, I'm listening to the Blackout album by the Scorpions. They are so underrated. I dont know why I havent listened to them a whole lot until now. I had the Love at First Sting album as a kid. Loved it back in the day. I didn't know that they wrote even better music until the past couple of years. The Uli guy is about as impressive as one can get on a guitar. Jabs is no slouch either. Even Rudolph is a fantastic player. He gets no love and he writes most of the music.Jason wrote:Mid-70s Ritchie Blackmore can still kill it on guitar like nobody else...
I watched this video the other day and it rehyped The Exorcist for me to watch again. Lol. It's only been a year or two, and they seem to be a little fuzzy on what happened in a certain scene, but the appreciation is shown. They definitely "get it" and they do a good job talking about just a few great moments in the movie.zombie wrote:it may just be my from time to time try again to appreciate the exorcist, the way that most of the rest of you do. cause jason got me interested with the mention in the other thread.
Same. I'll be watching it on surround sound all alone tonight. ... ... ...Tiggnutz wrote:The Exorcist has consistently creeped me out for more than 30 years. It still makes me uncomfortable to this day.
do you know what happens in that scene they were uncertain about? the astronaut thing rings a bell.. but i don't remember, for sure.Jason wrote:I watched this video the other day and it rehyped The Exorcist for me to watch again. Yeah, she comes downstairs, tells the astronaut "You're gonna die up there" and pees.zombie wrote:do you know what happens in that scene they were uncertain about? the astronaut thing rings a bell.. but i don't remember, for sure.Jason wrote:I watched this video the other day and it rehyped The Exorcist for me to watch again. Then the mom rubs her nose in it- oh wait... that was Scary Movie 2. :p
The first two are some some of the funniest shit ever. Lolzombie wrote:oh, scary movie.... the abomination to horror cinema!Jason wrote:Yeah, she comes downstairs, tells the astronaut "You're gonna die up there" and pees.zombie wrote:

Agreed, love the added scene, but it's spliced in too soon.Jason wrote: Fuck this movie. Lol. It just doesn't age.
I gotta say, I prefer the movie without the spider walk. It happens too early in the film when Reagan is barely starting to lose her shit, and I like that the demon only manifests in the room upstairs.
