Man, I have developed this terrible habit over the last couple of weeks of biting the skin off the sides of my tongue. It hasn't gotten to the point where it hurts or anything (yet), but I really need to kick this habit bad.

That's pretty weird. You should stop. Doesn't sound healthy. That being said it's not like fingernails where you can add coatings etc. tongue is just always there. Good luck kicking that habit.

wat? Skin on the tongue? It's a muscle, didn't know it really had skin unless you are talking the bottom of it or summat, but you said sides.
