One of the rare days where I can start it with UK date notation without fucking things up for you.
Enjoy Saturday!
Enjoy Saturday!

I have a Marshall DSL401 CR. Its 40 watts but it has a standby kind of switch to bring it down to 20 watts. Holy shit, I love the tone it gets on the 20 setting. It wouldn't be a good choice for you, because you still have to crank it a little to get a good tone. I mean, it's a tube Marshall. Made for loud jamming. I've heard mixed reviews about their DSL lower watt heads. I played one, and it was just too fizzy on the distortion channel.DancesWithWerewolves wrote:Don't dare tempt 2020, yo.Jmac Attack wrote:I posted this on Facebook. True story.

That said, I'm looking into getting a new amp
When I get it dialed in, the Mesa Mark V:35 sounds amazing, but it's such a finicky bastard that the same settings change in the wind direction or something lol. Still can't afford the Diezel VH4 that I really want, but I'm looking at other high gain alternatives. The Revv G20 sounds pretty fucking wicked for only 20 watts, and has direct-to-computer plug-ins that makes direct recording even easier. Doesn't have foot-switchable channels though :/
It's an experience.zombie wrote:i have never seen tetsuo. but that is all about to change.
yeah, I'm not going in the Marshall direction either. Except maybe for the JVM, the high gain is "just not enough" :pJmac Attack wrote:I have a Marshall DSL401 CR. Engls is an amp a lot of the pros are switching to. I've never played one. I'm gonna try to find one next time I'm guitar shop cruising. I wanna check out an Orange Dark Terror head. I play the tiny dark terror at practice all the time. My drummer has one. Cool ass amp. Ya have to use a pedal with it though if ya want more distortion. I imagine the actual head is different though. One of the guys in Slipnot has his own line of dark terror heads.DancesWithWerewolves wrote:Another I was looking at was the Engl Savage.
Have fun.Headhunter wrote:Headed into LA to join the protests. Have a great Saturday, everyone!
experience indeed. so. back in the day, i gifted one of the director's other films to an hmf friend. so i probably owe it to him, to hunt that one down and finally watch it too.DancesWithWerewolves wrote:It's an experience.zombie wrote:i have never seen tetsuo. but that is all about to change.
