starting a new chat

My boss opted to not cancel her vacation in spite of another co-worker getting exposed to the virus and not being allowed to come to work for the next two weeks. I was already scheduled for 46 hours this week. Now it looks like I'm going to be closer to 56, maybe even 60 hours. The board is going to be pissed and I'm kind of thrilled. I tried to get them to make me a salaried employee last year so OT wouldn't be an issue for things like this. Instead they're going to end up paying me more for the next three weeks with OT than I was asking for in a raise for the year.

Fuck it, just ordered a Sutter Cane Rules t-shirt right nao ago. Always wanted one since I saw one years ago, nothing has changed in that time in that the only people that would "get it" are here. I love you guys.

I know if I ever have the misfortune of bleeding from the eyes, I'm definitely taking advantage of it and asking anyone near me "do you read Sutter Cane?" in the creepiest voice I can manage.
