Its July already
Yeah, I have a weird feeling about that. I get that cameras are already everywhere, but I can see this being a bad thing.Reign in Blood wrote:So now the latest here is that they want to do away with cops busting you for traffic violations, for a more automated system. I can see the angle, but they're just gonna put cameras everywhere and nail you for everything. Best not be littering down some back alley, lest you get $10,000 fine in the mail.
Sounds like a great idea in concept, but what happens when you've got dopplegangers out there that are coming up as you in the system with facial recognition? I'm interested in seeing how this plays out.showa58taro wrote:The idea being that you have to adhere to the law? Well that is just unfathomable.
Don't be doings. Seb expects you and your ilk to abide by the law. Wait, just say you're protesting D and you can jay-walk all you want.DancesWithWerewolves wrote:Sounds like a great idea in concept, but what happens when you've got dopplegangers out there that are coming up as you in the system with facial recognition? Also annoyed if they start ticketing for Jay-walking. I do it all the time when cars aren't coming.
Don’t we all expect to abide by the law? If it’s for cars the way most places do sided cameras and junctions etc that’s just basic common sense measures. Means you’d only need cops to chase down dangerous drivers rather than speeders.Reign in Blood wrote:Don't be doings. Seb expects you and your ilk to abide by the law.
