July 18th, 2020
Just got done bug-bombing my shop. Black widow season is in, and since we've got a new owner, everyone was cool with me doing that. I killed over 20 baby ones over the last few days, and since our main sales guy is one of the "compromised" types, we really can't have the threat of a fucking black widow bite on top of the covid shit at the same time for him lol.

Damn! We have those in Ohio but I've never seen one. We have a lot of wolf spiders in and around my house. Amber was bit by one a couple of weeks ago and it fucked up her arm from the elbow to her shoulders.
The same day, I saw one out in my garage where one of my bands rehearse. I swear to God, it was tarantula size. I looked up how big they can get, and the one I saw was way bigger. It was unreal.

That's what I call it. Mid-summer around these parts, all the eggs hatch around here and I'll find them all over the place.Tiggnutz wrote:Black Widow season

Is that movie really that good? I saw a trailer for it and it looked meh. I've been intrigued about it though.DancesWithWerewolves wrote:Psuedo spoiler: Uncut Gems is a recent fucked-up ending.Jmac Attack wrote:What are some movies with fucked up endings? Pretty damn good, but anxiety level's on high for most of the run-time, so if that's an issue, best avoid.Jmac Attack wrote:Is that movie really that good? I saw a trailer for it and it looked meh. After taking some time to get the author web page up and make sure there's a couple blogs up there, I'm finally back to noodle'n on guitar again. Making edits to my "Crunchy Dragon Roll" riff now too, trying to work around this accidental harmonic I keep triggering (and it doesn't sound cool, otherwise I'd let it stay).

One of the cooler roaming hunter-spidersHeadhunter wrote:What the absolute fuck is a wolf spider
It's the one you typically see carrying a ton of young'ns on it's back as it roams around. Sorta big for a spider, hairy but not thick like a tarantula, they're on the slim side.
I thought they were pretty common, at least in the states.
Not sure why they call'em Wolf Spiders since they tend to be solitary, and not hunting in packs lol.

I guess ignoring that wolves are typically pack animals, they're named that way because of the way they stalk and hunt their prey.

Pretty cool. When I see one in the house, I catch it and release it outside. Someone told me that they will scare away roaches. And I'd rather have wolf spiders than roaches. Lol.DancesWithWerewolves wrote:https://www.terro.com/wolf-spiders

We have a new spider hanging out in our bedroom. We've named it Myles. So long as he stays in his corner he won't get evicted.
I started an erotic writing podcast with a friend

Those bad boys roam the house all the time. Common in desert wastelands. So I see them bunches. And leave them alone, because they eats da cockroaches.Headhunter wrote:What the absolute fuck is a wolf spider
