I've been in the air conditioning for 4 days now I'm in a warehouse that's already in the 90's at 7am. Today is going to be rough

Eek. Gonna get all swampy.

Day off. On phone hold w/company that keeps saying 3 minute wait. That was 30 minutes ago. I think this is what turns a normal person into a murderererererer. (always found that word funny to type! )

Yeah....I'm in the back of trucks all day that have been out in the heat. I'm looking for another job. Fuck Cintas. No hazard pay. They've banned raises through June 2022. But hey.....they give us a pack of gum and order pizza once a fucking month. A 13 billion dollar company. Fuck em.

I bailed my company out big time last night. They have me working outside the warehouse parking trailers sometimes as I train to go on the road. I was 4 hours into my shift when a team of drivers started their day. One dude got sick and shit himself before the route even started, I volunteered to replace him and worked nearly 20 hours unloading a 33 thousand pound trailer with nothing but a dolly and no lunch break. It is one of the most physically demanding jobs in the world. I got home at 10 AM, I'm scheduled for lot duty again on Thursday morning, I asked for an extra day to get my body back together because I went like 28 hours straight with no sleep.

They refused.

Been watching Rose Red for the first time recently. Slow burn with bit too much backstory, but I'm digging it so far, nice atmosphere.

Lol. I'm hurt at the same time because I believed their bullshit. I'm taking all my vacation and looking for a new job soon. I'm keeping up on CoVid though. I dont want to get a job and then get laid off.

It's got shitty TV cgi for sure. But thing is, when they did more typical zombie/ghost makeup, it was good/decent budget for it. But most times they try and get wise, yeah.

It's trickier when you get into the billions. But just on a personal level, as soon as they cut my wages because the invisible boogeyman made some people pee pee in their skivvies, I had to cut an astronomical amount of shit; gardeners, exterminator, plumbing services, remodeling contractors, etc. people from all stripes that need the work.Trickle? I was streaming like I just had a motherfuckin' 6-pack. Damn shame all the rum's gone, and they ain't ever gonna give the bottle back.
