The stock app RobinHood cancelled all orders of Reddit stocks today, only giving holders the option to sell and driving the price down. In the end people with not a lot of money will get destroyed. People should probably go to jail for this.

They’re the most widely used trading service for the people in on this thing and they’re wielding that market power to tank the Reddit stocks. It’s pretty bad.

Ah, ok. It's fucked up either way, I just wasn't sure if there was a specific reason for calling them out. Gotta love that it's ok for the rich to fuck with stocks, but when some random nerds do it, everyone gets up in arms.

The hedge funds got caught in a squeeze purely because of their own greed. If they didn’t over-leverage themselves tearing apart the carcass of a dying company that employs thousands of working class people, they wouldn’t need industry collusion to bail themselves out, which in turn crushes the average trader. It’s really, really fucked.
