Seeing A Quiet Place part 2 in 2 hours and 20 minutes

Cool. I'm seeing it on Sunday.

New Joe Bob clue: "The first film is one of the most stunningly original horror films of the past ten years, and the second is an eighties oddity so strange that people are still fighting over it 40 years later."

Not much to go on, but totally rules out In The Mouth of Madness. Bummer.

Color out of Space and im not sure about the 80's film

That is far from original due to it being from a Lovecraft story that has been adapted before. I'd guess The Void, though it could be Cabin in the Woods(loosely fits the script clue, too). I can think of others in that time frame(watch it be Call Girl of Cthulhu), but most are garbage(Residue fits the script bit). The 80's one could be Videodrome. I can think of tons of 80's horror films that fit the cosmic bit. Dunno what anyone would be fighting about, though, other than some of the ambiguity in Videodrome. Maybe The Beyond?

A Quiet Place part 2 was Outstanding.

Well, got a call early this morning that my Grandma (mom's side) passed. Kinda knew it was coming as she was being stubborn about not going through surgery that she needed, but still. Knocked the focus out of work for me today, for a bit.

Though it is "cosmic" yeah I wouldn't put Color Out Of Space as original or inventive in the last 10 years. I don't think The Void was all that spectacular either, but I guess it did stand out from the pack for modern horror. I'm gonna groan if it's Cabin In The Woods.

How's this cosmic? wtf?

Apparently there were some folks that managed to get both of tonight's movies right? Are they just button-mashing movies and got lucky?

*groan* Darcy used the "inconcievably vast" definition of "Cosmic" not the one EVERYBODY thinks of. But still, I don't see how anybody could make an educated guess with Train to Busan.

Spookies is the 2nd movie ... gawd these clues ... wtf?
